Peta's unique approach to family and criminal law stems from her passion advocating for those navigating the justice system.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience in legal practice, Peta is dedicated to supporting clients while resolving their sensitive legal matters.
Peta promotes cooperative and alternative dispute resolution processes to resolve disputes. Notwithstanding this preferred approach, Peta has vast experience appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, District Court and Magistrates Courts.
Peta ensures clients are fully informed of their rights and options so as to assist clients in reaching the best possible outcome.

Meet Isabelle McCutcheon, our Associate Solicitor.
Isabelle has a Bachelor of Laws (Second Class Honours - Division A), and a Bachelor of Justice from the Queensland University of Technology.
Isabelle completed her practical legal training at the College of Law, and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland on 7 November 2022.
Isabelle has worked at Preston & Associates since January 2021 as a Law Clerk, and previously volunteered for the Moreton Bay Regional Community Legal Service from 2018 until 2021. Isabelle is an enthusiastic advocate for client’s navigating the legal system and she takes pride in her attention to detail.
